WELCOME TO THE GOOD FARM: WEEK 10

Peaches are yours for the taking this week! Fragrant, jewel-toned and sweet - grown by the Halsey Family at their centuries-old farm in Sagaponack. They are being delivered to you just under ripe in order to keep them looking beautiful in transport. Simply place them out on the counter (or in a paper bag) and they will be ready to eat in a day or two. Available in the week's Local Produce Box and by the pound.

"Little Gerrys" are back! Our friends at Browder's Birds have been raising a special flock of chickens, fed organic scraps from North Fork Table and Inn, considered one of the East End's finest restaurants. Why? All in support of their executive chef, Gerry Hayden, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. A portion of all sales will go to A Love Shared, a collaborative fudraising effort to promote reseach for ALS and provide care for Hayden. Through October Browder's Birds will periodically offer "Little Gerrys" and they will be featured at limited restaurants and here at The Good Farm Delivery, a South Fork exclusive! See the recent article in Edible East End about the project here.

Shop our Produce section as you would any local farmers' market, or sign up for this week's Local Produce Box! We've curated "the box" for you this week and it includes: Sungold Tomatoes, Green Kale, Sunflower Microgreens, Green Peppers, Leeks, Bicolor Corn, Beets and Yellow Peaches.

Don't forget your locally roasted organic coffeelocal lemonades and iced teaseggs, cheese and Home & Bath offerings!

ORDERS FOR DELIVERY ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 8th ARE DUE BY 5 pm TUESDAY, AUGUST 5th.

We are happy to pick up your used delivery boxes! Just leave them out for us the next time we come calling. We hope to see you Friday! May all good things come to you.

XO
The Good Farm Delivery
